We spent the past few weeks polishing the music for the forthcoming documentary ILHA. A total of 32 original tracks written and interpreted by Mickaël as well as 2 covers rearranged and sang by him too.

The music in all our productions is extremely important and holds a vital place in the storytelling.

Most tracks have been written & interpreted on a vintage piano and a Guilele (a small guitar hybrid of classical guitar and Ukulele). The instrumentations are quite organic with layers of Violins and Cellos and some delicate synth ambiances. Mickaël also experimented with his voice to use it as if it was an instrument.

We are currently rerecording and mastering everything in Bali with the help of some very talented local producers.
