From 2006 to 2011, Mickael joins drummer James Anderson to create the Fancy Toys, a band that received a moderate success in the UK and reached the top of the charts in Iceland with their collaboration with Eurovision contestant Ragnheiður Gröndal.

Their debut album “Gypsy Eyes” sold thousands of copies and aired on British national radio for months. The Fancy Toys played hundred of gigs all over Europe and did several tours including the opening for the 2011 UK tour of the band “Jethro Tull” who sold 60 million albums worldwide.
