The series celebrate Brazil and its diversity. Discover the beauty and the richness of these 8,000 kilometers of coastline, their geographical and natural facet but also their cultural and economic aspects. An exciting journey combining aerial views with a cultural and human portrait.


EPISODE 1 : THE AMAZONIA – 43 mns


During the first stage of this journey, the inhabitants of a community resulting from fugitive slaves, the quilombo of Curiaú, perpetuate in music their history and the memory of their African ancestors who freed themselves. On the island of Marajo, raising water buffaloes is Ana’s passion, the owner of a fazenda, a large agricultural property. In Belém, we will follow the incredible procession of the Cirio de Nazaré and its two million faithful, which make it the largest Catholic holiday in the world. In the palm groves of Maranhao, Maria and the babaçu nut crackers? a particular species of coconut?


EPISODE 2 : THE NORDESTE – 43 mns


In this second episode, Raimundo and the fishermen of Fortaleza fight to maintain their traditions. Near Natal, dromedaries carry tourists across the dunes of Genipabu. In the Mamanguape estuary, Thalma watches over the last populations of manatees. In Olinda, Silvio creates “giants” that he will parade during the carnival. And on the coasts of Alagoas, the cultivation of sugar cane is still flourishing.


EPISODE 3 : THE EAST – 43 mns


In Salvador de Bahia, stroll through the historic district of the city. Then meet Roberto, taking care of the traditional boats in the bay of All Saints. Near Ilheus, we visit an agricultural community that produces 100% organic cocoa … The episode ends in the Abrolhos Marine Park, where Milton and his team watch over the humpback whales.


EPISODE 4 : THE SOUTH EAST – 43 mns


In the state of Espirito Santo, Fabio is divided between surf lessons and nature conservation. In Rio, Jorge guides us through one of the city’s largest favelas, where the construction of the cable car has changed the lives of locals, with a glimpse of the carnival and parade of the iconic Salgueiro samba school. And Calé opens the doors of the renovated Maracaña stadium, which has just reopened for the World Cup. In Paraty, a jewel of colonial architecture, the singer Perequê introduces us to the “caiçara” culture.

Tise and her team watch over the parrots in Superagui National Park, on the northern coast of Paraná.
